Under the direction of the Director of Facilities Maintenance, the Janitorial team performs a variety of cleaning processes, including floors, walls, windows, furniture in company buildings, rental villas and homes, facilities, and equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

Perform general cleaning of company facilities and homes/villas.

Perform cleaning of floors, ceilings, restrooms, carpet, and furniture.

Able to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, scrubber etc.)

Gather and empty trash.

Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy.

Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens and bathroom items.

Request repair services.

Able to work evenings, holidays, and late nights.          

Cleaning building floors and ceilings by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.

Gather and empty trash.

Cleaning of bathrooms.

Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.

Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.

Notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs to the building.

REQUIRED SKILLS DETAILS

Use a variety of cleaners and cleaning equipment.

Maintain supplies in tidy fashion.

General cleaning and knowledge of both home and janitorial areas.

Assist in reporting any needed repairs.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and rental guests.

 

Other Characteristics

Willingness to work outside (if necessary) in inclement weather.

Maintain appearance and able to interact with guest and inform them of activities that are going on within the resort.

Able to identify safety hazards throughout the resort and perform duties in a safe manner.

Must have knowledge of cleaning methods used in resort housekeeping and janitorial for homes and villas.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described, including progressively responsible experience in housekeeping.

 

Must be extremely reliable, responsible  and mature.

S.C. driver's license or other state license that is free of violations that would restrict commercial insurance qualification.

Must have valid work authorization for employment in the United States
