Provide high standards of customer service to all guests by processing and presenting food and drink orders in accordance to standard operating procedures.  Create and maintain a friendly, welcoming, clean, organized environment for guests and co-workers.  Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge which promote the culture, values and mission of The Sea Pines Resort. 

 

Responsibility for the proper accounting, cash handling, recording of all sales, health, safety and security regulations. Ensure proper levels of inventory and rotate stock in compliance with policies and safety standards. 

Qualities include, but not limited to constantly communicating effectively and clearly with customers, co-workers and management. Candidates must have the ability to constantly stand, walk and use stairs as well as occasional pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, turning, lifting and maneuvering of 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS DETAILS

Basic English-language, oral and written skills are necessary for understanding, interpretation, and completion of assignments. Effective oral communication skills necessary to provide courteous, responsive service to interns, employees, and guests.

Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Great customer service skills

Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Excellent communication skills

An eye for detail and the ability to multi-task

Ability to follow instruction and abide by guidelines are required

Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters

Ability to read, write, and understand orders

Standing and walking during entire shift covering large areas

Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries and pushes

Lifts and carries supplies, tubs, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs

Essential hand/eye coordination

Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant work environment

Noise level is moderate to high

Limited exposure to physical risk

Moderate physical effort required

Some tasks involve climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting 50 pounds, using proper lifting techniques

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


Previous experience serving customers either in a restaurant or banquet setting

One to four years education at the high school level or equivalent education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities or GED
