The Sea Pines Resort vision is to be the finest resort destination on the southeast coast and our team members are the HEART of our resort operations. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for attracting, recruiting, hiring and nurturing the best talent in our industry – locally and internationally. The Recruitment Manager will work closely with the Resort Executive and Operations Management teams on oversight of Staffing Human Resources team on managing day-to-day essential functions.

The candidate hired for this position must have experience recruiting in the Hospitality industry, and must have expereince recruiting for a peak-load need.

* Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
 
* Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, community network events, colleges, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
 
* Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
 
* Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
 
* Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
 
* Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
 
* Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, etc.).
 
* Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
 
* Manages current candidate activity on company website job board.
 
* Designs, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps)
 
* Acts as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics.
 
* Manages seasonal recruitment process including hiring of H-2B's, J-1's and seasonal labor. May be required to travel domestically and internationally.
 
* Manages relationship with all vendors including staffing agencies, J-1 & H-2B agencies.
 
* Updates and Maintains social media platforms used for recruiting purposes.
 
* Attends local, domestic, and international job fairs.
 
* Create on-site hiring events and events as-need for high volume recruitment needs.
 
* Conduct Exit Interviews for all departing staff (both international and local).
 
* Assist with other Human Resources functions as necessary or assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS DETAILS

Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management. Ability to foster organizational change. Excellent computer skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

* Must have minimum 2-4 years of specific experience in Hotel/Resort/Hospitality setting
 
* Must have prior experience recruiting international workforce, including but not limited to H-2B workers, J-1 interns, and Work & Travel.
 
* Ability to drive and travel as needed to attend hiring events and visit potential recruitment sites within assigned area
 
* Proven experience with applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting, and building. relationships to facilitate a successful recruitment program
 
* Must display strong communication skills both oral and written
 
* Must possess a strong commitment to guest service and present self in a friendly and enthusiastic manner representative of The Sea Pines Resort’s culture
 
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
 
* Bilingual Spanish/English speaking abilities strongly preferred

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to interact effectively with guests, members, vendors, and employees of diverse ages, backgrounds, and interests. Individual must be responsible and have the maturity to lead others to perform at a high level. Must have excellent employee-relations skills and be capable of responding effectively to conflicts among employees and departments. Applicant must be able to communicate well with others inside and outside the company.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field from four-year College or University

* 2-4 years related experience in Human Resources Recruiting role or Administrative Support

* Candidate must have previous experience recruiting international workforce, such as participants on the H-2B and J-1 visas

Valid Driver's License
