Under the direction of the General Manager, the Housekeeping team performs a variety of cleaning processes within the hotel including guest rooms and public areas both daily and turndown services which follow the FORBES travel guide four star standards of service.

 

  • Perform guest room cleaning to the FORBES travel guide standards.
  • Perform cleaning of public areas, restrooms, vacuum carpet, and furniture.
  • Able to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum)
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Keep storage closets and carts well stocked, clean and tidy.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens and bathroom items.
  • Request repair services, put in HOTsos tickets, notify Butler Services or Housekeeping Management of any maintenance issues.
  • Able to work evenings, holidays, and nights.         
  • Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
  • Making Beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking room supplies, organizing in room paperwork.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS DETAILS

Candidate must have knowledge of cleaning methods used in housekeeping for Hotel Rooms.

 

  • Use a variety of cleaners and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain supplies in tidy fashion.
  • General cleaning and knowledge of hotel rooms
  • Assist in reporting any needed repairs.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and guests.
  • Be able to bend, stand for up to 8 hour periods.

 

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

  • Maintain appearance and able to interact with guest and inform them of activities that are going on within the resort.
  • Able to identify safety hazards throughout the Inn and perform duties in a safe manner.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described, including progressively responsible experience in housekeeping.

Candidate must be extremely reliable, responsible and mature.

 

Valid Driver’s License
